Harry Potter Moment #205

Harry Potter Moment of the Week
Harry Potter Moment of the Week was created by Leah @ Uncorked Thoughts  and is hosted here @ Lunar Rainbows Reviews. The idea is to share a favorite moment, magical item, character, spell, quote or memory  from the books, films or J.K.Rowling herself!  How to join up &  upcoming topics here.

Happy...Saturday all! How is everyone's week going so far?  I've had a busy week in real life and work was exceptionally busy so I'm ready to step back into the Wizarding World (albeit a few days late), how about you?  I've got Founder Fever recently it seems:

Favorite Hogwarts Founder. Or whichever one fascinates you the most.

As I mentioned in last week's post, I'm fascinated by the Founders of Hogwarts. All of them.  I feel like history maybe exaggerated some of their character traits and I'd like to see the humans behind the Houses.  Or you know, maybe history didn't over-emphasize anything...either way, I'd love to find out all about each one of the Founders.  We have certainly learned more about Godric Gryffindor than any of the others. I'd follow that closely by Salazar Slytherin so if pressed, I'd say I want to learn more about the women Founders of Hogwarts because they have more mystery about them.  I think Rowena Ravenclaw seems brilliant of course but as a GryffinPuff, I think Helga Hufflepuff would be my top choice! I adore how inclusively she saw the Wizarding World, how she wanted all the Magical children to be welcome so long as they worked hard and wanted to learn ♥

Which one of the Hogwarts Founders are you more interested in?

  1. I don't know which one to pick so I'll go with...all? After all they're probably all fascinating right? :)

I should take another quiz and see which House I'd be, I did a while back but I don't remember? I think Gryyindor but not sure...

    Happy Saturday Micheline!!

  2. I haven't given a ton of thought to the founders before! I'm most often a Gryffindor (and on occasion, Ravenclaw). But weirdly, I'm kind of most interested in the founder of Slytherin. I love the stories behind why the bad characters are the way they are. And I have a feeling his story would be fascinating.

  3. As a Ravenclaw I'd love to get background on Rowena and her daughter! There is so much to be pulled apart there, especially with what we learn in Deathly Hallows.
