Top Ten Tuesday #62

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish which features a variety of bookish top ten lists!

Top Ten 2016 Releases I Meant To Read But Didn't Get To (But TOTALLY plan to)

This Savage Song - I was lucky enough to be gifted this one over the Holidays (thanks Lee ♥), so I now officially have no excuse. Not that I need one. I sooo want to read this!

GEMINA - My pre-order of this arrived during a notorious reading slump but now that I'm getting slowly back to it, I won't be able to hold out for much longer.

The Dark Days Club - Beyond the fact that most of my blogging besties LOVED this, I can't wait to set foot in Victorian London and promptly get my period-appropriate socks knocked off!

The Rose & The Dagger - This is another unforgivable omission. I adored the first book! I just want my paperback of it to match this one but the waiting is KILLING me.

Arcanum Unbound - You'd think with all the Sanderson I read that I'd be caught up but he keeps surprising me! This collection of Cosmore short-stories is a must though.

The Cursed Child - Obviously. My ignorance has become embarrassing but I was scared ok?! I'm ok now and I feel better prepared for...this.

Nevernight - After getting familiar with Kristoff, I've become and fan and this dark fantasy sounds right up my alley!

The Invisible Library - Magical libraries! WIN.  So many friends loved this, I need to join their ranks.

Scythe - This is another one that most of my friends have loved so I must get my hands on it and find out what the fuss is all about :D

The Reader - I actually won this (Thanks C.J.) but I wanted to read it since before it came out so I will be digging in the moment the mood strikes me.

What 2016 releases did you miss out on last year?

  8. Great list, Micheline! I'm afraid I wasn't a fan of The Cursed Child (though I enjoyed seeing it way more than I enjoyed reading it) but I hope you enjoy reading it. :) I need to get to The Invisible Library, too!

  9. I highly recommend The Invisible Library - I loved it. Of course, I still have books 2 and 3 to read but oh well, seems to be the story of my life lately. Here's to more reading in 2017!

  14. LOL I have Cursed Child too and still haven't read it! I just couldn't yet, I don't know. I'm with you though and the time is now. I also picked up Dark Days Club but haven't read it yet even though I really want to so I need to get to that one soon as well. Gemina is on my list, but I have to read the first one. This Savage Song was one that had me confused with the title, but after seeing reviews come in, I know I have to read that one as well!
