Top Ten Tuesday #61

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish which features a variety of bookish top ten lists!

Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree

Goldenhand - Even though I'm waiting for the paperback to come out - so it matches my lovely paperback collection - I wouldn't be mad if it showed up under the tree :D

The Bartimaeus Sequence - I'm listening to these on audio right now but I'd LOVE to get this^^ edition of the series to put on my shelf! I just love them!

This Savage Song - I've been kicking myself for not pre-ordering this since before it came out -  Santa, save me the trouble and send it my way!!

The Rose & The Dagger - Much like my comment directly above^^ I REALLY wish I'd pre-ordered this back when I had gift cards at my disposal. I needs it.

Pawn of Prophecy - Even since Faith recommended this during #HarryPotterMonth this Summer, I've been pining for it. And Santa, I've been mostly good this year, I swear!

Adulthood is a Myth - I know that this one isn't my usual genre but man, I adore Sarah's Scribbles.  I have her comics pinned all over Pinterest and I'm dying to read her book!

Pottermore Presents #1-#3 - Santa I know that these aren't expensive and I should own the already but I'm poor!  Car troubles a few weeks before Christmas has forced me to wait to even buy stamps to send out cards D:  And you can't go wrong with Rowling

Batman Classic Graphic Novels - It doesn't have to be The Killing Joke! I also want The Long Halloween, Year One and The Dark Knight Returns. I just need some classic Batman in my life ok?!

His Majesty's Dragon - Dragons and Naomi Novik? Yes please! I'll probably listen to the audio soon Santa but it's so pretty, I'd love to display it on my bookcase ;)

Arcanum Unbound - And finally Santa, if you're not sure, Sanderson is always a safe bet! Especially a collection of short-stories about the Cosmere. Eeek!

Have you read any of these^^?
What books are you hoping Santa leaves under your tree?

  1. I really want to read This Savage Song because I have heard great things about it. I need to get it, but there's so many present to buy this time of the year that I think this will have to wait.

I had never heard about Adulthood is a Myth before, but it sounds funny and interesting. I really want to check this out, as well.

  2. I really need to get my hands on Adulthood is a Myth - how true. I also love that Joker book. We just watched Suicide Squad and although I didn't care much for Jared Leto as The Joker, I ADORE Harley Quinn and want to be her when I grown up...just kidding (sorta).

  3. Great list, Micheline! I hope you find all of these under your tree this year. :D I was going to wait for the paperback of Goldenhand, too, but the hardback was so beautiful and I had some birthday money so I couldn't resist picking it up when I saw it. I can't wait to return to Lirael. <3 I really need to read the Temeraire series, too, but I've been a little hesitant since reading Uprooted last year - I did enjoy Uprooted, but I didn't completely get along with Novik's writing style and I'm hoping I don't have the same problem with those books. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year! ^_^

  4. Goldenhand has an awesome cover! And dude, you're gonna read Pawn of Prophecy? Oh man I read that as a teen- what a blast from the past! Nice cover on that one- I've got the old one. :(

Adulthood Is A Myth looks great too!!!

  5. I really need to get my hands on the Pottermore Presents too!

Check out my TTT and my current giveaways.

  6. Oh yes you need those Rowling books! I hope Santa brings them for you! The others sound wonderful too. Excellent picks!

  7. Oh man I could do with a lot of these. I almost bought this Savage Song yesterday (but no money for the hardcover so I might try and find the paperback #poorstudentlyf)

I LOVE comments & do my best to return every one a.s.a.p. ♥
