Stacking the Shelves *55*

Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews showcasing new books we've gotten a hold of (bought/given/gifted/trade/for review).

Hi everyone and welcome to another belated edition of Stacking the Shelves. I always have an StS post in my drafts and as I receive books, I add them to the draft until I have enough (I'm too lazy to do up a post with only 1 or 2 books) The only issue with my system is that either I forget to add books as they come in, or I forget to post them once I have enough. So here's the collection of books I've gotten since this Summer *cringe*

*Thank you Tor, Thomas Allen and Son and Raincoast Books*

And here's my audiobook library haul:

  1. Great haul! I've been seeing The Girl Who Drank the Moon around a LOT recently, I'm going to have to go look that one up and see what it's all about! Also, the cover for Kingdom of Ash and Briars is GOOOOOORGEOUS! *grabby hands*

Here's hoping you enjoy all your recent(ish) book acquisitions! Happy book-ing to you in the near future! Here's my Stacking the Shelves, if you're interested--but no worries if you're not! Have a great weekend! <3

  2. Nice haul. I'm dying to get Empire of Storms and the new HP. Hitchhiker's Guide is classic, nice choice!
This is my all-time favorite zombie series ever. The end of the first book blew me away. Wait until you read Blackout! I'm sure you got a big surprise at the end of Deadline, too. Gawd, I loved those books.

  3. If I can get myself to try audio again I think Hitchhiker's would be hilarious in that context. My problem with audio is I get to distracted, but maybe it's time to try again. And Empire of Storms and The Girl Who Drank the Moon (now THAT's a title!!!) both look good.

  4. Oh the Throne of Glass coloring book! I'd completely forgotten about the release! Well, not that I have much time for coloring these days, but it's definitely going on my Christmas list for when I get more time this holiday season ^_^ And I read the print book of Armada, but I hear the audio is superb. Also, can't wait to hear your thoughts about the end of Alcatraz (it's quite a shocker! But make sure you go to the very very very last page in The Dark Talent, like right against the backcover...only when you're done the book, of course!) :)

  5. Ahhh, so many pretties in there! ♥ I'm dying to see what you think of Rebel Genius because . . . half of the duo behind AtLA! And I need to get around to Armada soon to make my inner geek happy. XD

  7. Very nice haul, Micheline! I agree with others, Empire of Storms looks great :) And of course you had to get something HP, if not it's not a real bookhaul, right?
Have a wonderful week and happy reading.
