Fandom Mashup #78

Fandom Mashups
Fandom Mashups is an original feature here at Lunar Rainbows Reviews.  Every week, I propose a unique fictional scenario and then we build our own personal dream team of five fictional characters from five different fandoms to complete the task!  Anyone is welcome to join up - all I ask is that you link back to me somewhere in your post :)

Hello friends and happy Sunday funday! November has taken a chilly turn around here but I just love how that means guilt-free indoors time cuddled up with a good Netflix marathon or a good book. I'm slowly getting out of my reading-slump which is a relief. I didn't feel like myself there for a bit.  We've got a busy day ahead of us though, we're rounding out some villains:

You've been charged with creating your own Suicide Squad: a team of villains to lead into deadly situations and hopefully save the day instead of destroying mankind. Which villains are you putting on the squad?

Loki

Loki might be hard to control but he could certainly get the job done - IF he wanted to. I'm going to cross my fingers here and hope that this doesn't end in disaster.

Snart (The Flash/Legends of Tomorrow)

Snart might have been a villain but he's shown his soft side on more than one occasion.  I think he'd fit in nicely with my squad!

The Woman (Sherlock)

The Woman will do ANYTHING necessary and she's proved that time and time again. She has a soft spot though so we'll just have to use that to our advantage

Snape

While I don't see Snape as an outright hero like many of my blogger friends, I do recognize his bravery and willingness to do what is necessary...which is exactly what I'm looking for.

Catwoman

I love this trouble-maker with a hidden heart.  She's got an amazing skill set, she's brave and she's not afraid of bending the rules!

Who would you pick for your own Suicide Squad?

  1. Ooo, a neat prompt! Loki for sure, and maybe Darth Vader. Who wouldn't pass on dude with lightsaber skills and the Force?! :D

    Great post, Micheline!

  2. It's starting to get a bit cold here too. I'll take a Netflix marathon or a good book ha ha. Yeah Loki's pretty treacherous but he's still a great pick. I mean, is there a better villain?? Snart's a good one too, I just started watching Legends of Tomorrow so I get to binge that! The Woman I don't know, but she looks like a badass?
    And Catwoman is awesome!

  3. I'm so happy to hear that you're getting out of your reading slump! And I'm VERY excited to see that you're reading Half Bad! :D I've been in one, too; real life has just been sucking up ALL of my time like an evil vampire lately, lol.

Catwoman is so perfect for this (or should I say, purr-fect? XD)! I've always thought of her as a morally gray character rather than entirely as a villainess. It'd definitely be interesting to see what Loki would do in this situation; here's hoping that he'll help avert trouble instead of causing it, lol!

This blog is an award-free zone. I appreciate the thought but I can't invest the time needed.
