Top Ten Tuesday #53

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish which features a variety of bookish top ten lists!

Books On My Fall TBR List

The Knights of Crystallia - This was supposed to be my very next read - until Empire of Storms arrived. It'll be the one I dive into afterwards and nurse my inevitable hangover LOL!

The Girl Who Drank the Moon - I've heard lovely things about this one and my ARC is calling my name - I won't make it wait much longer.

Kingdom of Ash & Briars - Another ARC I've neglected but I will fix that soon, I'm very curious about this one^^

Guile - This apparently has a talking cat and magic... and that's all I need to know. I need to read this one a.s.a.p.

Rebel Genius - Brought to you by one half of the creative team responsible for Avatar: The Last Airbender. Yeah.  It was hard enough waiting until closer to the publication date but I won't be waiting much more.

Cursed Child - I'm almost scared of this one now but let's face it: it's Harry-fucking-Potter so I will read it. Hopefully it doesn't make me crave ANOTHER series reread afterwards...

The Dark Days Club - I meant to get to this pretty so much sooner but it's one of the pitfalls of being constantly buried in books. I'm craving this one though so it won't be much longer.

Riders - The premise alone was enough to make me covet this ARC and yet again, I failed to read it as soon as it arrived.

Ink and Bone - I was gifted this pretty about a magical library last Christmas and despite the allure of a magical library, it sits on my shelf. But not for much longer!

Stars Above - The mixed reviews about this collection of short stories made me pause but despite that: it's The Lunar Chronicles. So I need it in my life!

What's on your TBR list for Fall?

  1. Guile is a new one for me, and The Dark Days Club sounds interesting too. With a title like that (and the cover) I'd be interested too. Nice list- these all look good for fall. :)

  2. Dark Days Club is a fantastic read and I still need to grab a copy of Guile. I've wanted to read that one since before it was released. Ink and Bone is also really good.

  4. I need to read Ink and Bone soon too! It sounds so fantastic. And I was so nervous about Cursed Child and I do have my reservations with it, but I still loved it.

  5. Great list, Micheline! I hope you enjoy Stars Above and The Cursed Child (though sadly I really wasn't a fan of the latter). I'd love to read The Girl Who Drank the Moon, too - it sounds wonderful. =)

  7. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was just okay reading experience for me, but I hope you enjoy it! Like you said, anything Harry Potter related, I'm there for it too :D

  8. Oooh nice list! I've also been neglecting The Girl Who Drank the Moon, but it looks so pretty and magical! Same with Ash & Bramble, although I don't own that one yet. And definitely read Cursed Child. It's obviously not as good as JKR's stuff, but HARRY FUCKING POTTER.

  9. I still haven't read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child yet either, maybe I'm just feeling nervous too :) I wouldn't call myself a huge Potter fan, but like you, I feel like I have to check it out anyway, since it's Harry-Fucking-Potter, lol!

  10. Hey Micheline ^^ I love your picks for this TBR. There are so many books in here that I've also got my eyes on. Frankly, I don't think I'll be reading Cursed Child. I read the summary online and I don't like the turn of events at all XD. But I'm looking forward to reading Dark Days Club and Ink & Bone. I hope you enjoy them ^^
