Top Ten Favorite Television Shows Of All Time
Doctor Who is my all-time favorite television show. Sure it's lost some of it's magic since Russel T. Davies stepped off as the show-runner but there's a magic to this world and it's characters that is truly timeless!
When a show still has a dedicated fan-base after 11 seasons, it says a lot. Now I won't deny that the first 5 seasons were the strongest, but I don't think I'll ever get enough of the Winchesters and their quest to save people and hunt things.
The Originals started off on Vampire Diaries but quickly became the focal point of the show, so it was only natural that they get their own show. Rarely do spin-offs surpass the original series but this seems to be the exception. I gave up on VD but I could never give up The Originals.
The fact that Merlin went off the air far too soon hasn't dampened my love for the series. These characters stole my heart and I sincerely hope that BBC will come to it's senses and bring them back one day...
As a DC girl, I was all for the addition of DCU shows on the CW. While the love-story in The Flash doesn't especially do it for me, the characters, plot and wicked action-scenes definitely deliver. This show's gotten better with every season.
When I started watched Arrow the show took hold of me and it was a whirlwind of suspense, drama and feels. The show seems to have lost a bit of it's magic in recent seasons though so I'm hoping it'll turn things around this Fall.
Peaky Blinders isn't for the faint of heart let me tell you but it's riveting. It follows a gangster family's rise to power in 1919 Birmingham. It's violent but it stole my heart - what can I say, I like to suffer. Oh and Tom Hardy guest stars regularly. #win
Growing up there were literally no shows from Canada that I liked. All of that changed with Orphan Black. This show is intelligent, addictive and mind-blowing. I can't wait to see what's in store for the upcoming season!
When I friend recommended this show, I was hesitant - it's not my usual taste but man did this series ever hook me. With every new season my feelings deepened and by the last one I was devastated but in the best possible way.
Any fans of these shows out there?
