Waiting on Wednesday *122*

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine in which we spotlight an upcoming book release we're especially looking forward to!

Here's my pick this week:

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
A Court of Thorns and Roses #2
Expected Publication: May 3rd 2016 by Bloomsbury

Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court--but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms--and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future--and the future of a world cleaved in two.
I know none of you will be surprised by my pick this week, considering that the cover was just released recently. If Queen Sarah J. Maas has a book in the works, you can be sure I'm waiting on it. Granted this series will never surpass the Throne of Glass Series in my heart, but I loved it all the same. The Fey, the magical world, the romance and that ending in the first book has me practically begging for this one. Luckily, we won't have to beg/wait too much longer...♥

What are you waiting on this week?

  2. I love this cover! I think I like it even better than the one for ACOTAR. I wasn’t a massive fan of ACOTAR’s first half but by the end of the book, I ended up rather enjoying it. So, yeah, as soon as book 2 comes out, I’m definitely getting myself a copy! I think I know what the ending of ACOTAR hinted at and I’m so very terrified/excited to be proven right XD

  7. I hope you enjoy this one Micheline! I sadly don't think I'll be reading it, because I broke up with Sarah's books. Oh well.

  8. Nice pick! I completed part of my goal this year and actually finished this book recently. YAY! Sadly, the romance didn't do much for me, but the action at the end was sublime. I'm definitely on board for book 2.

  11. This is a very sexy cover... Like, more sexy than I am used to in YA. Maybe this goes along with the added romance in this one? I guess I'll just have to read ACOTAR to find out! (Hopefully soon!). I am just getting the impression that this series is a tad more adult than ToG - NOT that ToG is a kiddie book by any means!
