Fandom Mashup #34

Fandom Mashups
Fandom Mashups is an original feature here at Lunar Rainbows Reviews.  The idea is that every week, I propose a unique fictional scenario and then build my personal dream team of five fictional characters from five different fandoms to complete the task!  Anyone is welcome to join in on the fandom fun - all I ask is that you link back to me somewhere in your post :)

Hi everyone and Happy 2016!  New year's eve was a blast even though we took it pretty chill. Me and the boyfriend took in a movie (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and New Year's Day involved good food with the family!  We're back in business today though and ready to make the most of the new year :D  To kick things off, bad guys decided to make things interesting for us:

In a nightmare come to life, a gang of villains from all magical realms have somehow teamed up and are set to takeover all of the Universe! Which villains are on this terrible team?! (Part 1/2)

Sauron

Sauron. With the Ring of Power. Hello nightmare!  Sauron almost took over the entire Middle-Earth on his own so if there was a way for him to take over the Universe, he would have been all for it.

Voldemort

Voldemort is obsessed with power and terrifying to no end.  The thought of him teaming up with other super-villains with Universal-domination in his sights creeps me the fuck out. Gah!

Daleks

They might not look like much, but The Daleks have come exceptionally close to taking over the entire Universe - on more than one occasion.  I shudder to think what they could accomplish with some help from other villains O.O

The Joker

Now I know that The Joker isn't from a magical realm, strictly speaking but just think of what he would be capable of, if he HAD access to magic. Some men just want to watch the world universe burn...

The Destroyer (The Abhorsen Trilogy)

The image might be vague (spoilers!) but his name certainly isn't.  The Destroyer on it's own could easily lay waste to worlds, so the Universe isn't much of a stretch. Eeeep!

Stay Tuned to Fandom Mashups for Part 2

  1. GAH- THE FORCE AWAKENS! ♥♥♥ I thought about including Snoke on my list but decided to go old school with Vader. XD I am very intrigued about The Destroyer- and kind of scared, lol. Looking forward to the heroes team next week to take these baddies out! :D

    1. YES^^ I meant to include Vader but when it came time to write down my post for some odd reason he completely slipped my mind, can you imagine?!! I love Vader :D LOL - yeah The Destroyer was scary but also oddly fascinating in an ''OMG we're all going to die'' kind of way XD I'm excited for our heroes to set things right next week too!!

  5. The Force Awakens!! Hells to the yah! I loved it and it would be the perfect way to ring in the new year =D
I completely forgot about Sauron! And the thought of him teaming up with Voldemort scares me! Can you imagine the horror. We'd all be dead! And then throw in the Daleks. We'd stand no chance!
I really need to read the Abhorsen trilogy! I' going to do it this year gosh dangit!

    1. YAS!! I thought so too and it was awesome :D

Sauron + Voldemort is too chilling to even think about for too long. And the Daleks! Gah D: I just want it to be next week already so our heroes can come and put things right!

Eeeeep, I hope you really do read the Abhorsen Trilogy this year :D *crossing fingers and toes*

  6. Oh I'm so jelly! I am about to go see Star Wars alone (not that I mind one bit) but my friend and BF laughed when I asked them to go. I promptly gave them the finger (you know the thumbs down one) and told them they had horrible taste.
This very well might be the most terrifying band of baddies I ever did see. I wouldn't want to inhabit a world where there is one of them let alone ALL!
I love seeing what you come up with!

    1. Awww come on Britt's friend and BF! I totally would have given them the finger (thumbs down one naturally) too! And I agree: horrible taste. I hope you get to see it soon regardless :D

Yeah, these villains are freaking me out just thinking about them. It's like you said, one is bad enough without combining them! Thanks ♥

  7. Just thinking of all these villains together freaks me out! There would be absolutely no hope for anymore. Add the King of Ardalan and the Darkling too, could you imagine? Yikes. Hope you liked Star Wars!

    1. Right?! It would be terrible beyond our worst nightmares O_O The King of Ardalan?! Oh man he would have been a good one to include here...if by good, we're talking horrifying! I still need to meet Darkling though but from what I've heard? Yikes. I did really enjoy Star Wars, thanks Alise xx

  8. Great choices! When I got to the Daleks I almost laughed, but I see why you would put them on this team.

Happy 2016, Micheline! I hope this new year brings great things for you.

    1. LOL! I know, the Daleks are this odd combination of hilarious and terrifying. I think they're funny on the show but I wouldn't want to actually meet them O.O

Thanks Sofia^^ Happy New Year to you too!! x

  9. This is brilliant! The Daleks and Voldemort on the same team? Along with all those other psychos? I couldn't think of a better, err worse?, villain team. Exterminate XD

    1. Thanks Soudha! I can just picture Voldemort ruling the Daleks and them all loving him because he's so twisted and evil. Gah! They're all good villains but this team is a nightmare LOL! EXTERMINATE XD

  10. I didn't have time to do this one, but it's so much fun! I LOVE that you added Sauron to this list. He is one bad Mamba Jamba. Voldemort too mixing his powers with any villain is enough to terrify. The Joker is a great addition to the team as well. You've definitely got some crazy here! I can't wait to see who you pick to go up against them :D

    1. No worries Jaclyn but thank you! Sauron is pretty much the embodiment of evil. And yeah Voldemort gives me nightmares just thinking about him. The Joker is fun from a distance but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near him. Yup crazy central up in here LOL! Oh I don't know, I'm sure that you could guess one of my picks from next week...or too XD

  11. Ooooh, I love this mashup! I LOVE villains, sometimes more than I love the main character! And you've got some of the best villains up there! I haven't read the Abhorsen series yet but I have Sabriel! I need to read those. Can't wait to see the second part of this mashup!
