Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases For The First Half of 2016

*Click Book Covers for links to GR*

Bands of Mourning - I'll be reading Shadows of Self early in 2016 so I'll be ready for the next installment a.s.a.p :D

A Gathering of Shadows - Everyone in the world is waiting on this one right? If you haven't read ADSOM yet, you need to get on that.

Into the Dim - This sounds SO good!! Time Travel. Scotland. Enough said.

Stars Above - I (finally) just started Winter so I know that once I'm done, I'll need this one a.s.a.p.

The Rose & The Dagger - The ending for Wrath was torture and the only cure is right here^^

The Raven King - I.Need.It.Like.Air.  That is all.  I don't know if I'll survive it but I need it.

A Court of Mist and Fury - If SJM is coming out with a new book, you can be sure it's on my list.

The Girl Who Raced Fairyland All the Way Home - The final installment of the Fairyland Series. I need to hurry up and get caught up before it releases!

The Dragon Round - High fantasy? Check. Swashbuckling? Check. Dragons? Check. Hell yes!

Calamity - Firefight is on it's way to me so I'll be ready for the finale. Should be EPIC.

Are you as excited for these as I am? Also: did I miss any of your 'most-anticipated'?
Let me know!

  1. Great list - that's exactly my attitude too when it comes to SJM. Any book with her name on it is an automatic buy for me. Into the Dim is on my list too - it sounds so intriguing!!

  5. Great list, Micheline! I can't wait for Stars Above. :) There are so many books on your list that are the ends/continuations of series I still need to start - I really want to read A Darker Shade of Magic, The Raven Boys and Steelheart soon. You'll be pleased to hear I'll finally be reading Mistborn in January. ;) Happy New Year! :D

  6. Great list! We have quite a few in common. Even though I don't have Stars Above on my post, I am super excited for it. I absolutely love The Lunar Chronicles and I am not ready to say bye to that world.

    Happy New Year!!

  10. I'm really excited about Stars Above and The Raven King too and am waiting for the reviews on Into the Dim before I add it to my wishlist. I haven't heard about The Dragon Round but it sounds like my kind of read so I'm off to Goodreads to find out more about it :)

  11. Your list looks great! I'm excited for Stars Above (I was under the impression we'd never get anymore Lunar Chronicles and then they drop this announcement and I got so so excited!) A Court a Mist and Fury is looking so good to me right now. I'm fairly certain that if I were caught up on all the books I want to read The Raven King, A Gathering of Shadows, and The Rose & The Dagger would also be on my list. Alas, I am so far behind. le sigh. Into the Dim is on my anticipate debut list and it looks so good! I hope you have an excellent year of reading!

  12. The Raven King and Calamity are way up there on my list of anticipated 2016 reads too! I've pre-ordered the audiobook of Calamity, since I listened to both Steelheart and Firefight during my commutes to and from uni, so it just seems fitting to finish the series the same way!

Hope you have an awesome year of books!
