Stacking the Shelves
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews showcasing new books we've gotten a hold of (bought/given/gifted/trade/for review).Hi everyone :) I'm back with another StS post this week! I got some comments from audiobook fans last week, after I said that I didn't do audiobook haul posts. It seems that some of you would like to see what I've been listening to, so I decided to whip up a post. Here are my most recent audio goodies:
Sabriel by Garth Nix (Abhorsen #1). Alanna:The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce (Song of the Lioness #1), Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
*Reviews are already up for all three^^click the title or bookcover for my review*
In the Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce (Song of the Lioness #2), The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan (Heroes of Olympus #1), Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
*Review is up for In the Hand of the Goddess - click the title for my review*
I was about three quarters of the way through The Lost Hero when I had to return it and I tried to check it out again but couldn't...someone beat me to it! *sniff* So it's unofficially on pause till I get it back. I started Ready Player One after that and I've only read the first few chapters so far but I love it. Wil Wheaton is an awesome narrator!

Nice new selection, Micheline, and well done on actually reading AND reviewing three of them already :) I want to get my hands on Eleanor & Park, however, I'm really trying to not add so many books to the ones (the many, many ones...) I already own.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic weekend and happy reading.

Loved the narration for both Eleanor and Park as well as Ready Player One! I usually like to listen to at least one audio book a month.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty, pretty books! I really should get onto reading Rick Riordan and Ernest Cline. Hope you're having a good week :D xx
ReplyDeleteI don't listen to many audiobooks because my commute is non-existent. I absolutely loved "Ready Player One" though. I did not care for his second novel "Armada". Happy listening/reading!

I wish I liked audio books but I can't get into them much. Great collection you have though. Glad you are enjoying them.
ReplyDeleteReady Player One is still one of my favorites of this year. I really hope you like it. I met the author a while back, and he is just so adorably geeky!!
ReplyDeleteI really want to start reading Rainbow Rowell, apparently everyone really enjoys her books!!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! :D
