Waiting on Wednesday *111*

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine in which we spotlight an upcoming book release we're especially looking forward to!

Is anyone honestly surprised by my pick this week? For real though:

Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas
Throne of Glass #4
Expected Publication: September 1st 2015 by Bloomsbury

Her Destiny Awaits. But First, Vengeance.

Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she's at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past . . .

She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die just to see her again. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen's triumphant return.

Celaena’s epic journey has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe. This fourth volume will hold readers rapt as Celaena’s story builds to a passionate, agonizing crescendo that might just shatter her world.
EVERYTHING about this book kills me.  That title? Dead.  That bloody mesmerizing cover? Dead. Celaena's deadly/badass/epic/BOSS stance and stare? D.E.A.D.  I simply can not get over all the badassery that is at play here.  The Queen herself, returning to Adarlan. For justice. For revenge. Tears will be shed.  Nails will be bitten raw.  Feels will be shattered beyond repair.  And we, the readers will be left a bloody, broken mess on the floor.  Because that is the way Sarah J. Maas wills it. And believe me, she will have it her way.

Will YOU kneel before our Queen? *ahem*...I mean -
Are YOU super crazy pumped for Queen of Shadows??!
