Waiting on Wednesday *93*

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by  Breaking the Spine which spotlights upcoming book releases that we're especially looking forward to!

Here's my pick this week:

The Return by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Titan #1
Expected Publication: February 17th 2015 by Spencer Hill

It’s been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they’ve given him have been violent and bloody – which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He’s got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.

Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy’s deal might be, but it’s a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to “puree”. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of an ancient myth is gunning for her.

But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.

Book 1 in the new adult paranormal TITAN series, spin-off to the best selling COVENANT series.
Seth's Story.
After a few weeks of featuring cute middle-grade books for my WoW picks, I decided to mix things up this week with an NA paranormal from the ever-talented Jennifer L. Armentrout. Even though I still haven't finished up with The Covenant books, (no spoilers please!) I'm super excited for this more adult spin-off series filled with action and mythology.  With The Return coming out early next year, it should be more than enough time to finish off books 3-5 of the original series and be ready when this one hits the shelves!

Have you read The Covenant Series? Are you excited for the spin-off books?
Let me know when you link me up to your post!

  1. The Covenant Series is on my everlasting TBR. I will get there, one day. I love the synopsis of the series though. It definitely sounds straight up my street. But, to be honest, I foresee a future where I finally get to the series when there are enough of these spinoff books for me to binge the entire thing xD

  2. It's about time I start reading JLA! I am a bit scared because everyone loves her, and also, did she publish like 40 books in a year or something? :X I have Half-Blood looking at me tentatively so I think I'll give in soon.
Hope you get it soon and enjoy it!

  3. I still haven't read the Covenant series, even though I own the first book >.< Bad little me. Maybe I can squeeze that first book in before the end of the year.
I hope you'll love the spin-off as much as the original series when you get to it :)
    Thanks for stopping by earlier!
