Stacking the Shelves *29*

Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews showcasing new books we've gotten a hold of (bought/given/gifted/trade/for review).

This week, I finally completed my Throne of Glass collection with this much coveted set of e-novellas:

The Assassin and The Pirate Lord (Throne of Glass #0.1)
The Assassin and the Desert (Throne of Glass #0.2)

The Assassin and the Underworld (Throne of Glass #0.3) &
The Assassin and the Empire (Throne of Glass #0.4)

Now I've heard that it would have been best if I had read all of these before the actual books 1 & 2 in the series but since I don't own a Time-Turner or a TARDIS...yet
, I guess I'll settle for reading them like, now!!  Who knows, it may even prompt me to re-read the whole series :D

Have you read the ToG series & novellas?
Let me know and don't forget to link me up to your haul!

  1. Great haul! Don't feel bad for not reading them before, they can be like a stand-alone series, separate from the main books. :)
    Happy reading!

  2. Ooooh... I didn't even know about these. I haven't read the series yet so I might just read these novellas first!

    Happy Reading!

  3. They're awesome!! I read them to bridge the gap between Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight, and it did make me understand some things in CoM better, but I think they can definitely be read at any time!! I'm very cusious to hear what you think :) I especially liked The Assassin and the Desert :)

  5. I really want these novellas! But I don't think they're available in the AUS kindle store :( (Stupid international rights) So I'm waiting until they're released in bound up book format next year :D Hope you enjoy them!

  6. I'm sure you'll enjoy these even if you've read the series beforehand! Sometimes I go and get all the novellas once I've read the series, too!

  7. Weeee I hope you love them too! I read them after reading ToG too but they just add so much more to the series when you re-read them. They're brilliant! x

  8. I also picked up these novellas not too long ago! But too bad I've already read the first book. I think they'll still be good though! I'm excited because novellas almost never leave an impression on me, but I understand these ones are actually worth reading and actually add to the story!
