Stacking the Shelves *16*

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews showcasing new books we've gotten a hold of (bought/given/gifted/trade/for review).

This week I didn't go out and spend the remaining of my Chapters gift card (go me!) so this is my e-book madness edition I guess haha!  Here's what I got ~

*Cheap e-books*

Reckoning is a prequel to the Night Huntress Series and since I just got my hands on Halfway to the Grave last week, I couldn't pass up this bargain novella.  And besides Anew's gorgeous cover, I'd been wanting to read that series for awhile and finding it for $ 0.99 was impossible to pass up!

*E-book Freebie*

The Goddess Hunt by Aimee Carter

The Goddess Hunt is a novella taking place after The Goddess Test (which I haven't read yet but managed to get a hold of a few weeks ago)...it's hard to pass up a free e-book.  So even though I may not love the series I still had to grab this one in case...usually me & mythology make for a winning combination so here's hoping!

*For Review*
The Holders by Julianna Scott

The Holders is one that I was really excited about as soon as I both saw the cover & read the synopsis.  I really want to know what exactly 'Holders' are, what powers they have and what kind of a world they inhabit.
A big thanks to Julianna Scott & Strange Chemistry for this copy!

That's it for me this week guys!  Link me up to your haul below so I can check it out!

  4. Great haul babe!! You know, I really like the Goddess Test series even with the things that annoy me. It's funny. Like I am addicted and need to know what's going on even though I want to hit some of the characters and maybe throw some others off a cliff lol!! I have Anew and haven't read it yet. I suck! Hope you enjoy your books. <3333

  8. I just joined this blog hop myself, after a long time of wondering whether I should or not...glad I finally did!

Your books all look GREAT, except that I don't like ebooks, so I wouldn't read "The Goddess Hunt" or "Reckoning". What a shame... As for the other two, since they ARE available in printed format, I'll definitely put them on my TBR pile!! Hope you enjoy your haul, and thanks for sharing!! :)

  9. Those are some great eBook deals! I really need to save up for an eReader; I've been reading eBooks using the PC Kindle app, but it's just not the same.

Anew is on my TBR list; I'm quite interested in the Archers of Avalon series and look forward to seeing what you think of it! Happy reading!

    1. I know what you mean...although nothing beats a print book in my opinion ♥ I just love getting cheap books HAHA

I've also been really curious about the Archers of Avalon series for some time...the ratings are promising too! I hope you'll manage to get a hold of book 1 soon so we can compare notes :D
