Stacking the Shelves (3)

 Stacking the Shelves
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews featuring any new books we've received or bought this past week.

This week I have no arcs to feature, but I did get some mail-order goodies as well as a few wickedly priced e-books!

Here's what was in my mailbox this week:

Can you imagine that I *still* haven't checked out Graceling!?  I mean it's RIGHT up my alley: ya fantasy and a kick-ass female protagonist.  I kept wanting to pick it up but never did and then it was $5.00 on Amazon.ca so honestly it was impossible to pass up!

Ashfall is an 'end of the world' type dystopian and most of my friends on Goodreads absolutely LOVED it so I'm really excited (and a little scared) to check it out.  The author posted on Twitter that it was on sale for $3.99 in the Kindle store so I had no choice but to take advantage of such a sweet deal!

Darkness Falls is an e-book I've had on my radar for awhile and a Facebook friend posted that it was FREE through Amazon Kindle <--- it still is!!  Honestly, I wanted this one for the cover alone (I mean, look at it!!) but it's supposed to be a vampire/dystopian type fantasy that's creepy & fun!

So, what goodies did YOU get this week?  Link me up bellow and don't forget to let me know if you're a new follower so I can return the favor :)

  4. Haha, I downloaded Darnkess Falls too, for the same reason ^^
And I've had Graceling on my shelf for a while. But for some reason, in a moment of stupidity, I bought it in German even though I know German translations tend to suck, so I've been hesitant to read it.
Enjoy the books, I heard Ashfall is really good!

    1. It's just too good to pass up isn't it haha :D

Aww, I know what you mean. I find translations always differ in some way from the original work so whenever possible I try to read it in whatever language it was originally published...

  17. You need to read Ashfall like... yesterday! That book is so good, and I am sure you will want to immediately pick up Ashen Winter. I would have loved to be able to read them one after the other, the wait in between was painful. Great haul chick!
